Bama Cash vs. Dining Dollars

What’s the difference?

Bama Cash is loaded to the ACT Card by students (or family/friends of a UA student) or faculty/staff.

Dining Dollars is a student fee billed to undergraduate students taking 9 or more on-campus hours. These hours do not include online, co-op, hybrid or internship courses.

Unused Dining Dollars remaining in your account at the end of the Spring semester will roll into Bama Cash.

Using Bama Cash/Dining Dollars off-campus

For online orders

To use your Bama Cash or Dining Dollars for online or phone orders you’ll need your 16-digit ACT Card number.

Find your number by logging into myBama > Student Tab > Enterprise Operations box > Action Card: Card Number

This number changes every time you download a card, so when you load your card to a new phone make sure you check this updated number.
