The Action Card, or "ACT Card", is your official ID
for The University of Alabama and is your key to campus!
ACT Card setup includes two steps:

WHAT IS THE CARD USED FOR?
You'll use the ACT Card for many things both on- and off-campus while at UA! This includes: door access for both residential and academic buildings, meal plans, Bama Cash, Dining Dollars, NCAA athletic events (including football with ticket), UA Recreation Centers, Student Health and Counseling, event check in and more.

ACCOUNTS
There are several important accounts on your ACT Card that you will use on- and off-campus!
Bama Cash
Required for residence hall laundry & campus network printing!Load money to your ACT Card to use Bama Cash at 100 on- and off-campus locations!
You are never billed for Bama Cash and it does not expire!
Students/faculty/staff can make a Bama Cash deposit through the eAccounts app using Apple Pay or a saved payment method.
Parents/family/supporters of a UA student can make a Guest Deposit through the Action Card website at any time using a debit/credit card.
Bama Cash deposits can also be made via phone during business hours.
How to create a saved payment method for eAccounts app
Make a first-time successful deposit through the ACT Card website. At the end of your deposit select the Save Payment Method option. Your card will then be available for deposits through the eAccounts mobile app.
Bama Cash vs. Dining Dollars
What’s the difference?Bama Cash is loaded to the ACT Card by students (or family/friends of a UA student) or faculty/staff.
Dining Dollars is a student fee billed to undergraduate students taking 9 or more on-campus hours. These hours do not include online, co-op, hybrid or internship courses.
Unused Dining Dollars remaining in your account at the end of the Spring semester will roll into Bama Cash.
Meal Plans
The meal plan you purchase will be loaded to the ACT Card.Meal plans purchased from Bama Dining will be loaded to your ACT Card and can be used at all meal plan locations!
Using Bama Cash/Dining Dollars off-campus
For online ordersTo use your Bama Cash or Dining Dollars for online or phone orders you’ll need your 16-digit ACT Card number.
Find your number by logging into myBama > Student Tab > Enterprise Operations box > Action Card: Card Number
This number changes every time you download a card, so when you load your card to a new phone make sure you check this updated number.
COMMEMORATE YOUR GRADUATION
Exclusive to current students who have applied to graduate, the Graduate Commemorative Card features your name, ACT Card photo and graduation term.
These cards are only available for the current graduation term, so don’t delay and get yours today!
Orders are currently open for the Fall 2024 Term until Jan. 31, 2025.

GET IN THE GAME
Ready to cheer on the Crimson Tide? Use your ACT Card for entry into all NCAA athletic events!
Student football tickets require a ticket package for Gameday entry or a transferred ticket from another student using MyTickets. Don't have a ticket but want to attend? Add yourself to the waitlist!
On-campus students must be taking 5 on-campus hours (not including online, co-op, hybrid or internship classes) to be eligible for MyTickets.
UA Online students enrolled in at least 5 hours are eligible to join the MyTickets waitlist to receive a ticket or have another student transfer a ticket to them.
