Student Ticket Information  MyTickets FAQs

REMEMBER…

  • Your ACT Card is required for Game Day entrance
  • Ticket balance does not show on the card, check your balance on MyTickets through myBama or the Action Card website.
  • Be sure your device is charged. Bring a battery pack if keeping a device charged is a concern.
  • Tickets will have a gate number assignment and either an “upper” or “lower” bowl assignment.
  • MyTickets opens 1 p.m. the Sunday prior to each home football game and closes at the start of halftime.
  • Your ACT Card can be used for concessions inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

 

How to use MyTickets
  • Access MyTickets by logging in to your myBama account at mybama.ua.edu → Home tabMyTickets link or by going under the Student app on UA's mobile app.  
  • Check your ticket balance by logging in to MyTickets starting at 1 p.m. the Sunday prior to each home game.
  • You should see a balance of 1 for your upper-or-lower bowl ticket assignment.
  • If you do not see a balance of 1, call 205-348-2288 during normal business hours as quickly as you can.
  • Access MyTickets by logging in to your myBama account at mybama.ua.edu → Home tabMyTickets link or by going under the Student app on UA's mobile app. 
  • While you are in MyTickets, follow the instructions to swap a ticket with a specific student to change between upper and lower bowl ticket assignment.
  • You must use the student's myBama username
    •   (example: bigal@crimson.ua.edu the username = bigal)
  • If you swap your ticket it will be pending on your account until the other student accepts or denies your swap request or you cancel your swap request. Only acceptance by the other student will swap the ticket bowl assignment on your account.  Both students will receive an email on any activity listed above.  It is the responsibility of the student swapping the ticket to monitor the status of the swap as the ticket assignment remains the same on their account until accepted by the other student.  You can cancel your pending swap request at any time prior to the party accepting the request.
  • The student who receives the swap request can opt to accept or deny the request.  If the student accepts the swap, the ticket bowl assignment will swap and the student who receives the ticket must log in to his/her myTickets account to confirm that his/her account has a balance of 1 for their upper-or-lower bowl ticket assignment.
  • Access MyTickets by logging in to your myBama account at mybama.ua.edu → Home tabMyTickets link or by going under the Student app on UA's mobile app. 
  • While you are in MyTickets, follow the instructions to transfer a ticket to a specific student.
  • You must use the student's myBama username
    •   (example: bigal@crimson.ua.edu the username = bigal)
  • If you transfer your ticket it will be pending on your account until the other student accepts or denies your transfer request or you cancel your transfer request. Only acceptance by the other student will transfer the ticket balance from your account.  Both students will receive an email on any activity listed above.  It is the responsibility of the student transferring the ticket to monitor the status of the transfer as the ticket balance remains on their account until accepted by the other student.  You can cancel your pending transfer request at any time prior to the party accepting the request.

  • Access MyTickets by logging in to your myBama account at mybama.ua.edu → Home tabMyTickets link or by going under the Student app on UA's mobile app
  • While you are in MyTickets, follow the instructions to donate your ticket.  Your ticket will be donated into the ticket bank.
  • The student who receives a donated ticket from the ticket bank must log in to his/her myTickets account to confirm that his/her account has a balance of 1 for their upper-or-lower bowl ticket assignment.
  • Donating a ticket is final and cannot be reversed.
  • Access MyTickets by logging in to your myBama account at mybama.ua.edu → Home tabMyTickets link or by going under the Student app on UA's mobile app
  • While you are in MyTickets, follow the instructions to place your name on the waitlist for the ticket bank.  Place your name as early as possible in the week as it is a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • The donated ticket will be issued upper or lower bowl assignment based on original assignment status.
  • Make sure you can be reached by email and or cell phone until 1 hour prior to kickoff.  You can update your cell number in your myBama account: Log in to myBama, select the Student tab, select Personal Information, select Address and Phones, make the appropriate changes and save.
  • The student who receives a donated ticket from the ticket bank must log in to his/her myTickets account to confirm that his/her account has a balance of 1 for their upper-or-lower bowl ticket assignment. 

The University of Alabama Online Info
Students enrolled in at least 5 hours and seeking degrees in non-campus based programs will now be eligible to receive a regular season donated or transferred tickets.

The University of Alabama Online students wishing to receive a donated ticket may get on the waitlist through MyTickets on their myBama account. They may also receive a ticket transferred from another student. They must log in through MyTickets and accept the transferred ticket to receive it on their Action Card.

Upgrades to Student Guest tickets and season ticket package purchases will not be available to The University of Alabama Online students.

Students can verify their ticket status through the MyTickets website. The MyTickets website is accessible by logging into the myBama website (home page). Any questions can be directed to the Action Card Office at (205) 348-2288.

UA Early College students are not eligible for donated or transferred tickets.
